CASE STUDY – Major High Street Bank:

Annually this bank produces in excess of 120,000 benefits forms. Approximately 80 separate data feeds are required to be imported into the system from various sources to complete the benefits profile for each employee. In such a complex environment, data validation is of key importance. The validation routines contained in the import routines of P11D Organiser prevented errors from occurring.

Customised benefits statements incorporating the bank’s logo were then processed. To distribute this volume of forms is a tremendous task. To satisfy the bank’s business requirements, PAS consultants incorporated Optical Mark Reader compatible information onto their employee reports. This enabled the bank to send a CD of all of their employee forms to their Mainframe Documents department for printing and distribution.

Then to manage the inevitable employee queries, PAS consultants built a bespoke query management system for use by 80 staff in the bank’s call centre. These staff were then fully trained in the use of the software.

Finally PAS consultants built dedicated links between P11D Organiser and the bank’s payroll and HR systems so that moving forwards a real-time synchronous link was left in place.
